The Project

Preparing Europe for the integration of humanoid robotics

A Centre of Vocational Excellence co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Partnerships for Excellence framework.

HumaNova is a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Partnerships for Excellence framework (Project No. 101260868, ERASMUS-EDU-2025-PEX-COVE).

The project responds to a defining challenge for vocational education and training: how to prepare learners, educators and the wider workforce for the integration of humanoid robotics and artificial intelligence into industry, healthcare, education and daily life. As these technologies move from research labs into real-world applications, the VET sector must adapt its curricula, methodologies and partnerships to remain relevant and to equip professionals with future-proof skills.

HumaNova brings together a consortium of 17 organisations from Greece, France, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Italy and Germany, combining the expertise of leading VET providers, robotics manufacturers, research institutions, universities and umbrella organisations. The partnership reflects the full innovation chain: from technology developers and integrators to the educators who translate these advances into accessible, high-quality training.
